Denver, CO, June 21, 2013—A new book by Philip Kolin, published by Kaufmann, has won a Catholic Press Association Award. In June Reading God's Handwriting received the Third Place award in the Best Book by a Small Publisher Category.
The CPA, an association of US and Canadian Catholic publishers of newspapers, magazines and books. Awards are presented at an annual banquet where entries are accepted from members and non-members alike.
Reading God's Handwriting made its debut to critical acclaim in summer of 2012. Congratulations Philip Kolin!
St. Simons Island, GA, August 28, 2013—Kaufmann Publishing announces the arrival of four new titles to join the existing sixteen others published since 2005.
First, from Franciscan University David Craig fleshes out some of Catholicism's prominent spiritual benefactors and their mysterious patrimony in Whose Saints We Are. Next, Jesuit Peter Milward brings two masterful works of spiritual meditation and instruction: The Spirit and Ways of Prayer, his newest offerings in a catalogue of hundreds. And finally we confront the provocatively frank verse of Ellison Turner in Cause of Joy.
Kaufmann Publishing released its first book, Pavel Chichikov’s Mysteries and Stations, in 2005. Many Kaufmann publications are provided in hardcover and are available online at kaufmannpublishing.com, tcbc.com, OCP.org, and Amazon.com.
